Brief introduction of Andy Lui (middle of the photo)
Hi
all, my name is Andy and I am currently working as a management consultant,
specializing in organization development and talent management. Recently, I was
assigned by the
director of my company to take up a challenging role of
revamping the business in Mainland China, thus I am now situated in Guangzhou,
and will only come back every Tuesday to attend class.
As
a management consultant, I understand high performance collaboration is the job
task that I have got to deal with everyday, no matter with engagement team or clients. I
find this task very challenging but also very fulfilling because it requires a
lot of 'people skills' and hands on working experience.
I
realize there are many students with different expertise in this class. I hope
to know more about your story and high collaboration experience in the coming future! Nice
meeting you all!
I am graduated from the Department of Social
Work, the City University of Hong Kong, with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)
in 2000. After graduation, I have spent about 2 years in media industry and
have worked as a researcher and reporter. Then I changed my career back to
social service and have been working as a Project Officer of a home help team
with more than 20 staff since 2004.
Working for people is a challenging work but
I am willing to take this task to serve those who are in need. Being a Project
Officer, I am responsible for the quality and operation of the service. And I
have to supervise and deal with different people, including social workers,
nurses, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, doctor, care workers and
driver.
During off-time, I would enjoy my family
activities and to do everything with my husband, 4-year-old daughter and 1 and
half year-old son.
Brief introduction of Mandy (left of the photo)
Hi ~~ I am Mandy which is a social worker since 2001. I am graduated in PolyU with a diploma in social work and continued my studies in CityU and finally graduated with a Bachelor degree of Social Work with minor in Counselling in 2010.
After my graduation, I have entered a NGO and became a youth worker for 11 years. In 2005, I have been a Project Officer of a government funded project. In 2010, I have been further promoted to be a Team Leader leading my team to develop various kinds of youth services. During these period of time I need to deal and co-operate with different collaborators such as the government sector, the business sector and the educational sector.
In the near future, I will begin a new chapter of my life because I will leave my current agency which I have been worked for 11 years and enter into another larger organisation to become a Centre In-charge. I foresee 2013 will be a year full of challenge which I am looking forward to.
